BLOCKS I MADE FOR JACQUALYNN
BONNY
This was a fun quilt to make. The quilting granny’s of our community wanted to create the ocean. So 3 people did a layer from the top of the ocean to the bottom. So I turned the squares into portholes giving the viewer a glimpse into the ocean. April Sproule of Fortuna, Ca. machine quilted this quilt depicting the waves through the ocean.

BLOCKS I MADE FOR JACQUALYNN
I made these blocks for JC’s quilt. The black horse is Captain – she rode him through her school days.
The fairy reminds me of her – she loved to dress up – and still does. The lizard is from a drawing of hers from her high-school days while in Jazz. She really likes to sing. Click on picture to see larger view.
