Hi quilting friends,
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. We will meet in our regular area to tie, cut, sew, sort, and everything else we do. We hope to see you there.
Our folks who tie have been busy. If you like to bind, there are tubs to choose from loaded to overflowing. We would like to create backs for our many waiting tops. If you can help choose fabric from our stash and create backs, please let us know.
We are looking for more heavy fabric to make our laundry bags, preferably not white.A bag uses one yard of 45 inch wide fabric.
We are scheduled to meet at KMVT two days a month. But, did you know that we have a bin at the Twin Falls Sewing Center? We stock it with quilt kits that you may choose to tie or to machine quilt. New longarm quilters can pick one up to practice on. We also stock pillowcase kits for you to choose from. Just ask one of the clerks where to find our bin. When you finish, you can return things to the KMVT on our meeting days, or the TF Sewing Center during their store hours.
We will be meeting in our workroom at KMVT on the first Wednesday and the third Monday of each month. Our times are from 10:00 AM until 3:30 PM.
